Upcoming Events

Kids in Kindergarten-5th Grade can come to the Library and get creative! Join us on Thursdays from 11:00am-12:00pm during the Summer Reading Program for a fun drop-in program with new activities each week! We encourage caregivers to attend this program with their children.

Blush Book Club is an extension of our Books with Spice program geared toward high school students. We will read young adult romance books and discuss them in the library. This program is for high school students only, grades 9-12, and is held at 4pm in the Large Study Room.

The weekly take-home crafts are provided every week starting on Mondays. The crafts are geared toward ages 2-6, but if an older child is interested they are welcome to take one. These are on a first come, first serve basis. Crafts change weekly, with the occasional leftovers from previous weeks still available.  

Adults and Teens – Join us as we play a fun dice game and win prizes! This event is on the first Monday of each month at 6:00pm in the Multipurpose Room.

Summer Storytime will be from 10:30-11:00am and is geared for families with children ages 3-6. After story time, we will have our Discover & Play time from 11:00-12:00pm. This is geared for families with children ages 0-6. We will have lots of fun activities, toys, and sensory materials for you and your children to play with together! Hope to see you there!

Summer Discover & Play dates: Tuesday May 27th - July 10th. This program will return to it's normal time of 10:30am beginning July 24th.

Each week we will have different guests share their knowledge in a fun and engaging way! We will have two different programs times: 9:30am and 11:00am.  You can choose whichever time works best for your family! 

Children can practice their reading skills with trained therapy pets between sessions of the Summertime Series. Studies have shown that children who read to animals, who are non-judgmental and cuddly listeners, improve their reading skills and confidence!

This adults-only group reads new, popular, and edgy titles at different restaurant locations in the community. Books with Bite meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm--refer to our monthly calendar for meeting sites.

The craft table is set up for adults and teens on the 2nd Monday of the month from 6:00-7:30pm. Supplies and directions for a craft will be provided, so get creative! Registration is required.
