Sedgwick County was founded in 1867, and named after Major General John Sedgwick of the Union Army during the American Civil War. Since then, the area has steadily grown and expanded to include 20 cities, including county seat Wichita - the largest city in Kansas.

The Speak Up program allows students, staff, and parents the ability to send anonymous tips through a secure website, app, or phone number. This resource allows anyone to share information that will be anonymously received. The service offers submission of tips through a secure website, a smartphone app, and by phone.

St. Michael’s Emergency Assistance serves the needs of the poor by providing financial assistance for rent, utilities and/or other essential necessities to area residents. They financially assist individuals and/or families who reside in the communities where their parishioners live, i.e. Mulvane, Udall, Belle Plaine, and Peck.

St. Michael’s food pantry helps those in need by supplying them with food and other basic living necessities.
